Influenced by the dry absurdity of Jack Douglas and Woody Allen, Morton takes readers through autobiographical fragments, philosophical detours, and stories that may or may not belong to him. He explores childhood, marriage, fatherhood, travel, the occasional medical emergency, and the limits of human patience—often within the same paragraph. Each piece builds toward a larger realization that no one, especially his wife, wants to hear where his grandpa bought his cheese.
